Rent to Own Included in our lease agreement is "Rent to Own", a free option that does not increase the monthly rent amount and provides the tenant with the first option to purchase the home. Rent to Own provides the tenant with a rent credit of $100.00 per month to be used towards the purchase of the home under lease. If the tenant does not want to purchase the home under lease, the tenant may instead apply a portion of the Rent to Own credit to any home available for sale in our inventory, or any home listed on the Multiple Listing Services (MLS) provided that the tenant is represented by an Agent of Midwest Realty Services. Our Rent to Own option does not increase the rent amount, nor does it require a down payment. Rent to Own is a flexible program providing the tenant the option to purchase at a future date, but not locking the tenant into a purchase price or purchase date. Rent to Own offers flexibility and a feeling of ownership from the first day that you move into your home. |
